What a cracking Rosé! Oh wait, that’s crackling Rosé.
It’s nothing to do with pork scratchings either. No, it’s the name of of Westbrook’s juicy, summery and slightly spritzy Rosé! It’s got all those classic summer berry fruit flavours like strawberries, raspberries with a lick of cream and a dry finish. All with a little effervescence!
Just a 30 minute drive north of downtown Auckland – we highly recommend paying the winery a visit one sunny weekend. Grab yourself a glass of something something from the Westbrook cellar door crew (heck, match it with one of their yummy platters) and set up camp on their awesome terraced picnic area over looking the duck pond. They’ve got balls too! Boules actually, so you can thrash it out on their full size petanque court! Game on.
